Open Question: Personal Contractor? *Shifty Eyes real estate investing*?

hypothetically, lets say a man who served as like umm i dunno lets say infantry in the Army and had been to war ect. Had taken lifes, and he gets out of the army after his contract is up. And he didnt know anything but what the army trained him to do. How would he get in touch with and join well.. lets not say join. Like contract, for the mafia. I guess that would tech make him a mercenary… But do you think in the real world, if he somehow “Hell if i know how” got in touch with the mob. The mob would even consider doing [tag]business[/tag] with him? I’m putting together a script for a animation ill be making. I just want it to be realistic as possible. So any outside views or opinions would help.
